Democrat Steve Sisolak has spent months campaigning on his support for higher taxes on Nevada families, but with his campaign struggling to stay relevant, he’s now desperately trying to mislead voters by falsely portraying where he stands.
In a recent interview with KTVN-TV, Sisolak claimed that he doesn’t see any need to raise any taxes to fund his proposals if elected. But just a few short months ago, he told his supporters the opposite, stating that “one of the ways that are going to have to pay for [my policies], and people don’t want to hear it, is property taxes:”
Sisolak also asserted during the Democratic primary that “everything’s on the table” when it comes to tax hikes and has a long record of supporting new taxes and fees on Nevada families.
For months, Sisolak has made it clear that he would raise taxes if elected, but now – with just a few weeks to go until Election Day – he’s desperately trying to mislead voters. He can’t be trusted to lead.
