Kari Lake Says Katie Hobbs Wants to Ban the Pledge of Allegiance in Arizona Schools

Lake believes Arizona students deserve better.

For hundreds of years, American public schools have educated students on our founding documents – great works like the Mayflower Compact, the Declaration of Independence, and the U.S. Constitution.

These timeless documents shape who we are and what we stand for as Americans. And they have always been part of a well-rounded education for any public school student.

But Arizona Republican gubernatorial nominee Kari Lake says her Democrat opponent Kati Hobbs wants that all to change.

Lake alleges that, during her time in the state legislature, Hobbs voted to ban founding documents like the U.S. Constitution and the Declaration of Independence from public school curricula – and even supported the removal of the Pledge of Allegiance.

And, according to Lake, Hobbs also backed a measure to teach sex education to children as young as five.

Lake believes that Hobbs’ intentions are clear: She opposes the time-tested values that make our nation great, and she wants to indoctrinate our children as soon as they’re old enough to attend school.

Students in Arizona and across America deserve better. They must learn the principles of individual liberty, limited government, and personal responsibility that our forefathers fought and died to defend.

Arizona needs a strong conservative leader who isn’t afraid to protect our children from the damaging ideologies of the Radical Left.
