After Uninspiring Performance, Florida Dem Gov Debate Co-Sponsor Snubs Gwen Graham, Endorses Andrew Gillum

Florida Democrat base voters are continuing to reject Gwen Graham’s establishment campaign and “phony” uninspiring appeals.

Florida Democrat base voters are continuing to reject Gwen Graham’s establishment campaign and “phony” uninspiring appeals.

At Monday’s Democrat gubernatorial debate, all of the four leading candidates, Gwen Graham, Philip Levine, Andrew Gillum, and Chris King, “sang in unison from the same progressive songbook,” as they desperately try to appeal to the far-left wing of their party.

But, unfortunately for Graham, her strategy of embracing the far-left does not appear to be bearing fruit. Only hours after the debate, the New Florida Majority, one of the debate co-sponsors, unanimously voted to pass on Gwen Graham and back Andrew Gillum.

The fact that base groups continue to snub Gwen Graham for a candidate with massive ethical issues shows that even Democrats are desperate not to nominate another typical politician who says one thing, but does another.

Florida Politics reports:

The New Florida Majority, the progressive organization focused on racial justice that co-sponsored Monday’s Democratic gubernatorial candidates debate, has endorsed Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum for governor.

The 501[c][4] organization‘s board unanimously ratified a committee decision to endorse Gillum Tuesday, a few hours after he, former U.S. Rep. Gwen Graham, former Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine, and Winter Park entrepreneur Chris King took part in the Florida Freedom Forum Gubernatorial Debate at the Miramar Cultural Center Monday night.
