Florida Dem Gov Candidate Says GOP Tax Cuts Were "Wrong"

Gwen Graham is working to make sure Floridians pay more in taxes.

The RGA writes:

While Florida GOP Governor Rick Scott is fighting to cut taxes, Democrat gubernatorial candidate Gwen Graham is working to make sure Floridians pay more in taxes.

Since entering the race, Graham has dodged questions on tax hikes. But, when repeatedly pressed at a recent event whether she wants Floridians to pay more in taxes, Graham admitted that she thinks Florida’s taxes are too “low,” and that the federal GOP tax cuts were “wrong.”

QUESTION: I know that some people like Nancy Pelosi and Andrew Gillum they want to reverse the tax cuts that just happened. I was wondering what your view was when it comes to Floridians. Would you want to reverse those? Would you want to raise taxes? Would you agree with them?

GRAHAM: Well, I think we desperately need to revise what’s going on in Florida right now…What happened in Washington was wrong…

QUESTION: Like the tax cuts in general?

GRAHAM: Yeah…

QUESTION: So do you think the taxes would go up, though?…

GRAHAM: Well, Florida is a very low tax state.

Watch here.

Once Graham gets off her talking points, she can’t hide her true tax hiking agenda. Floridians deserve better than another typical politician who wants to raise their taxes.
