Flashback: Colorado Dem Gov John Hickenlooper Attacks Jared Polis’s “Radical” Energy Plan

As the most far-left Democrat nominee in Colorado history, Jared Polis faces major challenges in unifying his party.

The RGA writes:

As the most far-left Democrat nominee in Colorado history, Jared Polis faces major challenges in unifying his party.

Recently, Polis’s so-called “unity rally” quickly turned into a major political headache for his campaign after his Democrat primary rivals failed to show up. The reluctance of many Colorado Democrats to embrace his candidacy is understandable given how quickly Polis has taken his party to the far-left.

Only four years ago, Colorado Democrat Governor John Hickenlooper railed against the same energy proposals that Polis championed, arguing they were “radical” and “extreme measures that would drive oil and gas out of Colorado.” Now, Polis is once again pushing “extreme” energy proposals that would cost jobs and cost Coloradans an eye-popping $45 billion.

Democrats can pretend that Polis doesn’t exist by dodging his events, but Coloradans won’t be able to escape the damage that his “radical” policies would do to the state.
