Will New York Dem Gov Andrew Cuomo Face High-Profile Primary Challenge?

Cuomo has found himself potentially facing a brutal primary race.

Per The RGA:

New York Democrat Governor Andrew Cuomo’s two terms in office have been plagued by scandal and mismanagement, with his top aide’s corruption trial, reports of alleged ethics violations in Albany, tax hikes and families fleeing the state. Andrew Cuomo couldn’t even make the trains run on time.

Now, Cuomo has found himself potentially facing a brutal primary race against a high-profile challenger who could have the resources and political connections to compete. Actress Cynthia Nixon has even reportedly gained the backing of former Bill de Blasio staffers.

Cuomo’s poor governance and failed record continues to plague his re-election campaign.
