Too Liberal For Minnesota: Rebecca Otto Endorses Healthcare Plan That Goes Farther Left Than Bernie’s

Otto seems to think plans supported by self-described socialist Bernie Sanders don’t even go far enough.

The RGA writes:

Minnesota DFL gubernatorial candidate Rebecca Otto seems to think plans supported by self-described socialist Bernie Sanders don’t even go far enough. At a recent forum, Otto seemed to indicate that Bernie’s “Medicare-for-all” proposal would be just the beginning. She’s now proclaiming that she wants “Medicare-for-all plus.”

What does that mean exactly? No one knows for sure, but Otto’s healthcare plan, which she has refused to provide a price tag for, would potentially give lavish benefits to everyone and abolish private insurance. How? Otto won’t admit to that either.

It’s more evidence that Rebecca Otto is too liberal for Minnesota.

Watch Otto’s remarks at the AFL-CIO DFL forum:

I’m gonna work 24/7 to make sure that we get to a Medicare-for-all plus or a single-payer plan plus, where very Minnesotan is covered and everyone receives a standard benefits set. And insurance goes away.
