Want higher taxes? If Democrat Tony Evers becomes governor, that’s exactly what hardworking Wisconsin families will get.
In August, Evers said that “everything is on the table” when it comes to taxes – a position he reiterated in September when, once again, he said he’s open to raising a variety of taxes. He’s not shy about it, either. In fact, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel noted a few weeks ago that “everything is on the table” has become “his refrain”.
What’s more, no tax hike is too big for Tony Evers – an no one is spared. He’s on record supporting higher property taxes, as well as income taxes.
Do you drive? You could also be hit with a new gasoline tax under an Evers Administration! That’s right – Evers is open to raising the gas tax by more than 32 cents a gallon if elected – though it could be more. When asked directly how much he’d raise the gas tax by, he said: “I have no range.”
Are you a farmer or manufacturer? Hold on to your wallets! Evers wants to eliminate the manufacturing and agriculture tax credit.
Tony Evers has every single one of these tax hikes “on the table” – as he would say. Wisconsin voters should tell him his chances of being elected governor are OFF the table.
