Stacey Abrams: Raising Taxes On Georgia Families Is “Necessary”

Per The RGA:

As she campaigns on imposing massive tax hikes on the people of her state, despite not paying her own taxes, Democrat Stacey Abrams continues to show that she’s too extreme for Georgia.

In new audio, Abrams admits that sometimes raising taxes is “necessary,” doubling-down on her tax raising rhetoric. But Abrams’ claim is no surprise given her record in the state legislature, where she voted repeatedly against providing tax relief to working families. Abrams has also pledged to reverse tax cuts that would save Georgians an estimated $330 million over the next five years.

As she continues to favor far-left California billionaires over Georgia families, Abrams’ eagerness for higher taxes proves once again that Georgians can’t afford her as governor.
