Stacey Abrams’ Out-of-Touch Campaign Touts Endorsement From Failed Governor Jennifer Granholm

Despite Granholm’s record of failure in Michigan, Stacey Abrams seems to think it’s wise to align herself with the failed former governor.

Per the RGA:

Yesterday, far-left Democrat Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams made the puzzling decision to tout an endorsement from failed former Governor Jennifer Granholm, whose catastrophic policies wreaked havoc on Michigan’s economy, leaving hundreds of thousands without jobs. Granholm tweeted yesterday morning that she was heading to Georgia to rally for Abrams, news that her campaign touted later that day, calling Granholm an “authority on leadership.”

But Abrams neglected to go into detail on the consequences of Granholm’s failed leadership. Under Granholm’s disastrous tenure as governor, Michigan lost over 500,000 jobs while the state’s unemployment rate climbed to nearly 15%. Granholm also pushed for massive tax hikes in the midst of a recession that ensured Michigan families had even less income to pay their bills during a time of economic hardship.

Despite Granholm’s record of failure in Michigan, Stacey Abrams seems to think it’s wise to align herself with the failed former governor. If Abrams plans on running her campaign on the back of Granholm’s pro-tax, anti-jobs policies, Georgia voters will quickly discover that she is not fit to lead the state forward.
