Michael Moore Makes A Fool of Himself (Again)

Twitter did not take kindly to Moore’s ignorance

Liberal filmmaker and political activist Michael Moore sent out a tweet Friday evening, asking why President Trump hasn’t opened up his private Florida residence as a shelter.

Michael Moore on Twitter

Has he opened up Mar-a-Lago as a shelter yet?

The Mar-a-Lago resort is in the city of Palm Beach, which is a mandatory evacuation zone.

Twitter did not take kindly to Moore’s ignorance:

Mark Dice on Twitter

@MMFlint You win the Dumbest Tweet of the Day trophy, Michael. 🏆 Congrats. (Mar-a-Lago is in the evacuation zone, FYI)

Twitter users even asked whether the millionaire would open up his home(s) to the victims of the storm:

Chuck on Twitter

@MMFlint What have you opened up big guy??

Proud USA JeffBales on Twitter

@MMFlint Have you opened up you house yet?

Perhaps the most brutal tweet was when Donald Trump Jr. taught Moore some basic geography:

Donald Trump Jr. on Twitter

It's on an island on both the ocean & intercostal and in a mandatory evacuation zone... probably not the best idea, but you know, narrative! https://t.co/Ji5V5lh7ya

As of Thursday, September 14, Michael Moore has not apologized or deleted his tweet.

P.S. It is unclear which of Moore’s nine homes Twitter users were requesting he make available to victims of the storm . . .
