Late Tuesday night, Texas Governor Gregg Abbott tweeted "Let's make alcohol-to-go an official law in Texas."

So now it looks like what started as a way to help struggling businesses during the pandemic will be here to stay, if the new legislature agrees.

In his tweet, Abbott also posted a link to a mysa.com story quoting his remarks to state lawmakers on the first day of the legislative session.
