GOP Governor Kim Reynolds Signs New Legislation To Empower Iowa’s Rural Communities

Reynolds is keeping her commitment to expand opportunities for rural communities across Iowa.

The RGA reports:

GOP Governor Kim Reynolds is keeping her commitment to expand opportunities for rural communities across Iowa.

WHO-TV reports that Governor Reynolds has signed the Empower Rural Iowa Act, a new law that will provide incentives for expanding broadband access and the construction of workforce housing in Iowa’s rural communities. This represents the latest major accomplishment for Governor Reynolds, whose pro-jobs leadership has spurred Iowa’s economy, driving unemployment down to just 2.4 percent.

With Governor Reynolds providing common sense leadership, the Hawkeye State continues to reach for new heights as she fights for working Iowa families.
