VIDEO: Even Democrats Are Concerned Over Far-Left Georgia Dem Gov Candidate Stacey Abrams’ Calls For Tax Hikes

Stacey Abrams’ push for reckless tax hikes on working families is raising concerns – even from members of her own party.

Per the RGA:

Since becoming the most far-left gubernatorial nominee in Georgia Democrat history, Stacey Abrams’ push for reckless tax hikes on working families is raising concerns – even from members of her own party.

This weekend, during a panel discussion on Fox Atlanta’s “The Georgia Gang,” moderator Dick Williams asked former Atlanta City Council President Cathy Woolard (D) what she thought of Abrams’ calls to repeal the state’s income tax cut, which Williams described as “reaching into voters’ pockets and saying ‘I want a do-over, I want that money that’s in your wallet.’” Woolard agreed, stating that she doesn’t see “how that’s a winning proposition.”

As Abrams continues to stake her candidacy on extreme, far-left policies that would reverse years of economic growth for Georgia workers, even her fellow Democrats are starting to worry about her radical agenda.

DICK WILLIAMS:But I am struck with each passing week as to how far left Stacey Abrams is taking the Georgia Democratic Party. The latest that sticks in my mind and we’ve mentioned it once or twice, Cathy, she wants to take back the income tax cut – the first one in Georgia in 37 years. That’s like reaching into voters’ pockets and saying ‘I want a do-over, I want that money that’s in your wallet.’ What do you think of that?”

CATHY WOOLARD:“Well I’m not sure that’s what I’d lead with. You know, I don’t really see how that’s a winning proposition to do that.”
