Per The RGA:

Tonight, failed Georgia Democrat gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams is slated to deliver her party’s response to the President’s State of the Union address. In choosing Abrams to represent them, Democrats are embracing a radical far-left politician with an alarming record of ethical issues who was rejected by Georgia voters. From her attacks on working Georgians to her reckless tax-and-spend politics, here are just a few examples of why Georgians did not choose her to be their governor:

Far-Left Political Views

-Abrams was caught on tape admitting that tax hikes on working families are “necessary,” making it clear that she would have imposed them if elected.

-In October of last year, Abrams appeared to admit that illegal immigrants played a part in her gubernatorial campaign, stating she had support from “those who are documented and undocumented.”

Ethical Issues

-By using “official business” per diem days, Abrams used taxpayer dollars to pay for her own personal political activities, including Hillary Clinton speeches and “Resistance” events.

-Abrams loaned her own campaign $50,000 while still owing the IRS $54,000 in unpaid taxes.

Attacks on Working Georgians

-On the campaign trail, Abrams disparaged working Americans, claiming  “people shouldn’t have to go into agriculture or hospitality to make a living in Georgia.”

-Abrams attacked America’s free market economy, stating that she’s “sick and tired of hearing about the free market being the solution,” even as the economy continues to achieve record-breaking job growth.

By selecting Stacey Abrams for their State of the Union response, Democrats are sending a message that their party has fully embraced radical tax-and-spend politics, showing clear disdain for working Americans while ignoring Abrams’ alarming ethical failings.
