Alaskans Continue To Give Governor Bill Walker’s Job Performance Low Marks

Gov. Bill Walker’s noticeable lack of results is leaving Alaskans increasingly discontent with his lack of leadership.

With less than a year until Election Day, Alaska Governor Bill Walker’s noticeable lack of results is leaving Alaskans increasingly discontent with his lack of leadership. A new poll by Morning Consult shows Walker’s approval rating floundering, with nearly half of Alaskans disapproving of his job performance. These results make Walker one of America’s least popular governors as Alaska remains a top pick-up opportunity for Republicans.

With weak approval numbers amid skyrocketing crime rates, a massive budget deficit, and an abysmal business climate, Walker’s ineffective leadership makes him one of the most vulnerable incumbent governors running for re-election in 2018.
